AMD RX 6000 Series UK Pricing ?

I missed out on the 5000 CPUs, and been a tight Yorkshire man I don't be paying the current inflated prices across all retailers.

A tight Yorkshireman down in Cornwall eh? Well Im on your wavelength, I wont be buying over-inflated units too. Some are really bad brands to begin with which I normally wouldn't touch with a barge pole, then some just look plain ugly or terrible build quality (nvidia ones so far).

I just need a reference 6800xt as they are all the same for me. Sapphire make them all just stuck in a said brand box. There has always been price verients before on reference cards so I don't expect this to be any different. Asus, asrock, powercolor, sapphire, msi are all on there sites for reference 6800/6800xt. So just need to buy the cheapest.
Been in Cornwall for over 10 years.

Lovely place, not been there enough but have worked round there and had couple holidays not too many years back.

It wouldn't be so bad if all the brands you listed had 1200 units to send out, if its the total pot for the whole population of 50 million then we are done for..
Ocuk normally get a good allocation. I'll update this page if I hear any more stock updates.

Is a GPU classed as an essential item during lockdown 2.0 light?
Perhaps get that message out to the masses so I can finally replace the 660ti I'm limping along with. :p

does no one think its strange no uk website is evening showing the cards as even a place holder this close to launch, the 5000 series cpu were on all major retailers website weeks in advance. ive tried contacting overclockers and scan and both just ignored me, ccl computers just said sign up to news letter

That's in Euros the price BTW above. Not £
Yes, and vat in Finland is 24% too. The prices don't mean anything, they should just set them up at £9999.99 really to list the item really.

The 6800xt reference cards in the UK should be £599 including vat. Any more and they are above MSRP.
I got a Rx 480 4gb on launch day, they went up straight after the first patch sold.
Vega 64 sapphire reference did the same.
And Radeon Vii too.

If stock was plentiful GPU/CPU bundles would be a thing like when Vega launched but that's impossible currently.

I've been involved in PC hardware since the mid 90's and this is the most damaging market conditions I've seen. We'll have to fire up a 486 25mhz and load up windows 3.1 on floppy lol.

Same here mate it's shocking really what's going on, I'm 48 this year and my first computer was a zx80 and first IBM compatible a 286, so gives you an idea how long I have been at it too and how long I have seen what happens in the pc market. I'm trying to give some a reality check and sadly some have forgotten what happened only in last 2 years with the 2080ti pricing they all said never will be a £1K GPU, humm they ended up at £1200 cheap model if lucky and £1500 for a decent one. Even today the 2080ti new is over £1200 for rubbish models in most cases, while the 3000 series is out. Also are they not seeing what is going on with the pricing for a 3000 series NVIDIA cards ?

They think AMD is going to save the day when reality is they will be £50 cheaper for the same model as the NVIDIA version 6800 and XT. 6900xt god knows where that will land , may even match a 3090 in price or again £100-£150 cheaper.
