Anyone wanting a card this week, my advise is to order the Sapphire MBA Reference cards listed above in this forum post, we have over 1000 of these IN STOCK and will be shipping them out today/tomorrow.
Again custom cards are tiny tiny numbers, very expensive. Better supply and improved pricing shall be January/February time, so set your expectations for a potential 4-12 week wait if ordering a custom card please. :)

Best of luck and best wishes for Christmas from myself and the team at OcUK!!

Cards shall be available 2pm onwards, OcUK probably has the most the stock in Northern Europe on Sapphire MBA reference cards, so order in confidence. :)
So hang on, why was the Powercolour card I ordered listed as "In stock" with guaranteed next day delivery before midday (now past)?

Why did you charge me for the delivery, if you did not even have the cards?

You gone and done a fraud there...

So i need a GPU pre xmas as i dont have one at all , the dilema is the 4080 and the XTX feel interchangeable to me no great difference in performance at this stage in the game but my concern is will that still ring true in 1 or 2 years time.

I think i put 1300 down on the its probably for the best i just stump up another 500 notes and get the gamerock 4090 , its the only way to not end up sitting there thinking what if !

4090 is flagship, nothing from AMD will rival this in short term. Several cards in stock from all brands.
4080 is king of RT and DLS3 games, plenty of stock options.
7900 XTX rivals 4080 in some situations - No stock before Christmas
7900 XT beats 6900/6950 XT by around 25-35% and performs similar no doubt to around 3090ti performance - Sapphire 7900 XT in stock!

The above are £799 - £1999

Other options though old gen but good value for money are 6900 XT at £699 and is still a very strong performer. Especially as its an OCF so more like 6950XT performance!

Generally underwhelmed by these cards, if I was in the market for a card I'd probably go with the 4080, NVidia performance seems to be more stable across multiple games with the AMD cards having big swings in certain titles..

Driver issues have of course been reported, early driver excuse? Maybe. RT performance still looks rubbish in comparison. I'd rather spend extra for stable performance, DLSS 3 and usable RT performance. At least they didn't use those dodgy power cables.

No reason to upgrade right now, thankfully.

We had 20 Powercolor cards, the demand was way to high for such limited stock and as such the stock sold out much faster than the webshop could update.

Contact customer service who will issue you a refund.

I think I will go with Amazon today since I missed out and I've seen that my order number is about 200 down from those who also were affected by unfulfilled orders.
The chances I will see the card this year or even in January are slim next to none. And Amazon's return window is extended till the 31st of January.
Gibbo said something about 6950 from ASROCK that suppose to be available, but those are out of stock as far as I can see.

This is the 6900 XT:

It is an OCF so have tweaked GPU which means it performs around 6950 XT levels, hence good value for money.

Another card often overlooked is the regular 6800, a strong performer and only £549 at OcUK:

Or grab a 4080 which we have many available of or a 7900 XT. :)

I've been on hold for 45 minutes...

Does anyone work there?

Also, turns out my order WAS a sapphire, ordered 8 minutes after launch (tried powercolour but failed, forgot)

EDIT: Banned for asking where my order is, then insulted which was liked by "OCUK staff"? Yeah, **** this company,

We had near 500 Sapphire cards, but unfortanelty they had sold out within minutes, we are working closely with AMD to secure more.

If you want a refund it is probably easier to just request by webnote as our phone lines are crazy busy right now as we took close to 1000 orders in like twenty minutes which simply meant the website could not keep up, hence our apologies.

7900XT's are still in-stock I see, and I did ponder after reviews whether or not to hit that buy button.

Then I asked myself the usual question that gets repeated daily... is my current GPU struggling with games? The answer... no, plays everything maxed at 1440p without breaking the sag bracket. Not many games out there pushing my 6800 XT to its knees right now, I'll hold off perhaps till next gen and eek out that value left in it.
That's a very sensible attitude and if more people were like that stocks would last longer and prices would probably be lower across the board.

I do need a new card however my card can no longer meet my needs, after thinking about it I do think the 7900xtx is more for me over the 4080. I'll be waiting until AIB stock is plentiful though and we have more AIB reviews out.

Interesting how there seems to be some odd CPU issues going on. Shows the XTX in a very strong light up against the 4090. It's quite funny all this work for reviews and within a month after a driver or two it's all out the window.

My 'problem' is I have a new build system (my first in 12 years and since 2014 I had been using an 8yo Mac in Bootcamp) and so have no graphics card whatsoever as a 'temp stand by'. I opted for the Powercooler, not out of any preference (I'm looking for a reference card in any event), but because these were shown as 'in stock'. I simply want a reference XTX, so what model (manufacturer?) should I be opting for to enable me to actually use my PC?
If you want a ref card Sapphire is the best choice.

They are the cheapest over ASUS et al. Same price as powercooler but Sapphire offer a 2yr warrenty over powercoolers 1yr

Ultimately if you need one ASAP get what comes in stock first if you can wait get the Sapphire it's a no brainer. All ref cards will perform the same so don't pay a brand tax.

And I believe I'm correct in saying @Gibbo said that the Sapphire MBA cards will be the most plentiful

i had a 6950xt before so no way am i going for a lesser card , i think it has to be the 4090 can i just send a web ticket now and pay the difference or do i need to wait for the email ? no one replied to my last web ticket

Yes Sapphire 7900 XT, just had a few land from local suppliers, so total in stock as of now is 210 units of the Sapphire reference MBA XT card, we can deliver before Christmas. :)

Is this now a fact? I though you were hoping to get some reference models in the shorter term to satisfy the overorders you took?

AMD have said even if they ship GPU's to an AIB today, for AIB to build, that it is simply not possible to get a shipment in time for Christmas.
So to set realistic expectations no more XTX will come before Christmas, simply not possible to build cards and book flights to make that happen.

Now if an AIB has some stock sat there, then maybe but it is slim to zero.

Lol, Al

Lol, All the shills trying to discourage people from buying AMD seem to have failed. I must say even I thought there would be some stock for a while.
LOL. No one is trying to discourage anyone from doing what they want with their money. But that does not stop something from being a stupid/poor purchase. There will always be enough idiots that will buy something at launch to make it sell out, that's not going to change. So your comment is daft and childish. What exaclty makes me a "shill" for calling out a product for what it is, a poor launched product. AMD lied about performance, this is covered by multiple reputable reviewers online, at best they mislead investors and potential customers. The product has been reproted, widely, to have issues with performance, from crashing, frame pacing, blank screens, slow boots, exact performance in certain games to previous gen cards, vastly lower RT performance, and overpriced. This XTX is aimed at the 4080, not Nvidia top card, so its the replacement for the 6800XT?, but now costs £1000 lol. They have bumped up pricing just like Nvida and need to be called out on it. Why am I a shill to simply state that a XTX at £1300 is insane bad value when you can walk into a store and buy a 4080 (WHICH IS OVERPRICED) for less, and get a much more stable, reliable gaming performance, while producing less heat and using less energy and not experiecing any of the issues you might have with the XTX? Yeah, I am a shill for pointing out facts and spewing common sense lol. You sound like a butthurt fanboi and your retort to someone hurting your feelings is to lash out with "SHILL" comments.
