***** AMD RX 7900 SERIES AVAILABLE & IN STOCK TODAY FROM 2PM ****(BACK ORDER UPDATES WITHIN THIS THREAD)*

Unreal the XTX sold out, shows how many desperate and ill informed people there are shopping around for a GPU, who simply do not have control over their impulse buying urges. Think of paying over £1k for a mid range gpu, *SHUDDERS*..... And happy to see that XT still sitting on shelves to rot, but does not change the fact the XTX is their mid range GPU, every single generation AMD launch, they launch with a mid range GPU, and suckers pilled in here thinking they buying the top dog lol...all for the low low price £1k, with borked performance which does not allow them to reach the targets initially planned/designed for. In a few months we will get revised products no doubt that have fixed these issues and day 1 adopters who could not control their urges for the new "SHINY" will all look and feel like clowns. /RIP
You sound angry for some reason.

You sound angry for some reason.

Look through his post history and you will see some of his comments haven't aged well. We were supposedly having 3090ti beating performance for about £500 by now. Lol.

Understandably bitter its not happened yet.

To be perfectly honest, its a terrible time to buy a 3090 second hand, even @ £600, around the corner we have GPUs that for 500-600 will trounce the 3090ti.....brand new with warranty and significantly stronger ray tracing performance...its just, **** poor time to buy, unless your card literally failed, in which case a used 1070 would still be the better bet and then buy new....so either way, sorry but, its just people being desperate for something to buy/use and lacking the patience to make the smart purchase.

People can make their own value judgements, and everyone values products differently. I don't get why people pay £200 for a pair of trainers, but that's their choice and value proposition. To call people 'desperate and ill informed' is hugely insulting as a broad statement. I'm sure many have made that value judgement, and decided that the investment is worth it for them. Without knowing how people will use these cards, what their priorities are and how they evaluate the benefits, such a sweeping statement has no foundation. Fine, if it's not a great value proposition for you then move on, and spend your money when you do see value.

@Gibbo maybe worth sending an automated email to everyone waiting with their q status. Would save you a lot of admin work :)

Ha. Thankfully I am currently playing DA:I for some random reason so the vega64 handles that alright.

I took the week off to mess around with mine and play, but tbh all I've been playing is tainted grail, which is just an indie roguelite anyway..

AAA games are getting boring anyway so I can survive
