Anyone know what sort of time these queue updates are supposed to come out? I've had ones spanning all sorts of times from 12:30pm to 7:30pm before. Makes me want to know my queue position more lol
Well I started at position 64 in the queue for 5600x and the highest my position has gone down by in one week was by 30. Think you're gonna be waiting an awfully long time for a cpu rip.
5600x - Dropped from 260 originally to position 200 last week, and now to position 190 today. It would be nice to have some indication of whether these position changes are due to people actually getting the product; or whether its down to cancelletions.
Yes, you are wrong. If someone below you in the queue drops out, you are not effected and you will not be aware of it.Am I wrong in thinking if I've jumped 31 spots then everyone should have?
Posting timelines is the easy part. Getting suppliers to stick to them is a little more problematic.... At least competitors have timelines posted.
They could have posted the right time of the launch, but they couldn't even be bothered to do that. Just shows utter laziness to me.Posting timelines is the easy part. Getting suppliers to stick to them is a little more problematic.
I agree OcUK could do better in gathering the info they have in some central location but there is little they can do about the global shortage.
From this last week until now was cancellations. I was Queue 20 last week and am still 205600x - Dropped from 260 originally to position 200 last week, and now to position 190 today. No update on my 5900x queue placement yet, last week it came through quite late at 7.39pm
Update email is probably in the same place as the CPUs.
