Any update on 5900x? As I’ve not received an email

I am still waiting for an update today - last week I was 806 in the queue for a 5900X (for my son who desperately needs an upgrade). An update would be nice as if I know there is no chance for a few weeks then I will open the ryzen 3 3100 that I have bought as a back up plan (have holiday booked over the next couple of weeks).

NOV 20 queue position 419 - 29
TODAY queue position 392. - 27

well I think it sums itself up either 20-30 orders shipped per week or 20-30 cancels i think we may know which this is now I'm hoping for a nice bulk shipment to come in

For anybody wondering if their place in the que for 5800x has changed the answer is no, unless people have cancelled their orders ahead of you. (I''ve been 4th for 3 weeks)

yer it looks like between 20 and 30 ppl have cancelled per week on the 5800x according to my position at least

Basically assume no stock for 5900x I’m assuming hopefully big shipment soon so hard to secure a gpu and cpu some gaming must get done this Xmas!

There’s definitely no stock. Shipment of 200 due next week and 300 ‘owed’ to OcUK (lost in space).

But we got an update last week what there was no stock, so what changed this week?

I’m guessing as there’s been some movement or confirmed shipment on rest except 5900x so they didn’t want to say anything...

I’m surprised there’s not been more 5900x orders and less 5800x - the 5800x is what I would have bought but for the price difference I don’t think it makes any sense to buy a 5800x
