i would hope they put you one aside as they took your money I'm assumingI'm regretting having my 5900X lumped with my Lian Li O11 order now. That had plenty of stock back in Nov but is now sold out til Jan

That's just stupid. No unfortunately that won’t be the case. The way OCUK’s system works, they’ll hold your whole order back until both items are simultaneously in stock...
So if they get 1 item in but the other isn’t in stock, they’ll allocate that in stock to another order. So you end up waiting for stock over and over til both are in together. And if they’re both hard to source parts, you’ve got no chance.
It’s ridiculous and has miffed off a LOT of customers over the years. It’s caught me out in the past, and my friend in the last week waiting on the LG monitor.
If you ask OcUK they’ll probably suggest separating the orders. Then you’ll no doubt be back of the queue on 1 item at least again, unless they manually sort that out.
I have asked them about it in any case. Will see if they respond. It's probably because it is easier to keep track of the order.
Yes it does seem daft but it happened to me before
I'll keep my fingers crossed for youI have asked them about it in any case. Will see if they respond.

This is the kind of toxic behaviour & attitude that makes me want to shop elsewhere..
Really sorry bud, that's absolutely appalling!

If it helps I cancelled the cooler so only have the CPU outstanding now. They confirmed items are not put aside as well.Given I've got a Lian-Li Lancool on order with this too...
Absolutely incredible. It seems a waste to cancel this entire order for the sake of a case but it seems if I don't I'm going to be in an endless cycle. I'll make a forum thread in the support section and see what's said. Cheers for the heads up.
Anyone choosing 5800x over 5600 or 5900?
