Mine also always shows up correct, just very minor fluctuations so 1.55 might read as 1.5475 at the very lowest.
That's not the Vid. (Stock voltage)

Then you're in the minority.
Every CPU i've ever had the VID changes if I change the voltage in BIOS, only shows the correct VID if it is at stock.
it depends on the motherboard, not cpu... some motherboards up's the voltages using the vid's settings. Then you're in the minority.

IT makes it worth buying a good and expenive motherboard if you know it will support future CPUs for a long time.
I meant socket AM2+ and AM3 for AMd, its a bit unclear from the way i wrote it down. Not a native speaker here![]()

One retailer is taking pre-orders for the 1090T, clocked at 3.2GHz, at a rather tempting price of $318, here. Another e-tailer is listing the same chipat $350, but it's also offering the 2.8GHz Phenom II X6 1055T for $240, here.
We're expecting the Phenom II X6 to go on sale next month...
Is there any actually official word on when the NDA is up on these X6's? Surely with them being leaked onto the market we can't be that far away from official reviews...

A Norwegian retailer has jumped the gun and started shipping AMD Phenom II X6 processors.
xxxxxxx.no is currently listing about a dozen 1090T Black Edition parts, here. The price is 2,276 krone, which works out to about €288. Not bad for a 3.2GHz six-core, not bad at all.
The company also has more than a hundred Phenom II X6 1055T processors in stock. These 2.8GHz parts are shipping for €197 which is nothing short of a bargain. You can get them here, at least until AMD kindly asks the retailer to pull them.
