How is everyone comparing it with Shield but completely missing the part with the controls? I.e. the crucial part of handheld/mobile gaming?

Believe it or not AMD's SoC are pretty efficient at this level, you would be surprised what their 5 Watt chips can do.AMD seems like a bad choice seeing as AMD cards use a LOT more power than equivalent nvidia hardware. Surely efficiency should be a main priority on a battery powered device like this?

I wouldn't want a 5W SOC in a handheld console.

If you mean the controller then it ceases to be a handheld device.
AMD seem to be winning everything apart from the Enthusiast CPU & Server CPU race where they are well behind
