It’s all about Intel graphics cards and fixing a very b0rked GPU market.

Although Zen3 with near 200mb of cache is nearly as compelling. Zen 3D with an X570S motherboard and 4000mhz memory would be pretty EPYC.

zen 3d on 6nm node (couple % more performance from node only) and memory controller on 7nm node so infinity fabric can actually work in 2000+mhz mode would be EPYC, 1 year old architecture with same or better gaming performance than Intel completely new architecture.

To be fair Intels process node is a few years older than what AMD is on. Intel may be on a new architecture but it's built on a process node from 2015 and AMD presently on a process node from 2019

I think AMD’s strategy is to move the mobile parts to 6nm with a Zen3+ design along with consoles. That should free up some 7nm production for Zen3D and RDNA2 with Zen4 and RDNA3 landing on 5nm in H2.

This would allow AMD to be very flexible and not overly exposed.

I doubt we will hear anything about Zen 4 performance at CES as AMD will need to sell those expensive Vcache chips that are coming first.

They are usually happy to advise of the expected IPC increase and power saving percentages a generation before launch, don't see why that would differ, just like they have done in the past and have been pretty accurate for every CPU launch since Zen in 2017. As for expensive V-cache, you don't know the prices, but hey we know you don't like AMD pricing CPU's like Intel do :)

Expensive like a Ferrari though. Seem’s expensive until you experience one.

We’ll hears tons about Intel Arc graphics cards though. Going to be the Golf GTI of graphics cards. Give a Ferrari a run for its money on the right road at a fraction of the cost
:p
