The countdown was for the NDA to lift on the Architecture and nothing more.

However, I'm totally getting myself some new drums :D

marketing team smashed it
i bet the web traffic stats are great :D

They may have "smashed it" with numbers of views, but they've also ****ed off a lot of people in the process who were expecting a little something more than a few short generic videos that give no useful information such as release/price and benchmarks

nah you over estimate the sheep.

If it does what it needs to do at a good price no one will care about a live stream, that was never promised, and isn't even on the CES ticket not happening.

You're right, it does.

Ouch....

Probably drivers etc. (infact all card sometimes do this for a fraction of a second)

Alas this will be taken and run with and hurt.

It could also be a CPU usage spike.

Are AMD actually on the CES Rosta?

Nope. They've already confirmed there's no live stream today too. I'm not sure why everyone is convinced they're doing a keynote speech.

I noticed in a linus video tday that were at the AMD booth and it was a tiny little 10x10 cloth booth with pullup banner. I thought....that cant be AMDs main booth? maybe it was. Maybe CES is all about wifi enabled toothbrushes and less about real tech.
