maybe for Ryzen?

AMD are hardly not gonna attend the first expo of the year and the main one in their country.....

Makes you wonder when further information will be released in relation to Ryzen. They do not seems to have a keynote there at all.

I just liken it to a load of zombies (us) chasing Rick Grimes (Vega card) in the Walking Dead :D

To be honest. CES is more about B2B in terms of keynote speeches. They can release a keynote or livestream at anypoint to get to their customers for Vega and Zen. They don't have to do it at CES. Only selling to other businesses would it be prudent to have a huge event at CES. It's also EXTREMELY expensive to have a big keynote like that at CES. So no point. We will all watch the livestream whenever it is.

VEGA does allow the use of RAM and SSDs lol No longer are we limited to 4GB or 8GB for example we can now have 500GB virtual Vram!

How this all plays out we after wait and see !!

You can already utilise system RAM and HDD space as virtual GPU RAM - still the same problem that you are limited by the performance of the PCI-e bus (obviously there is the extension for using it more for streamed/resource heaps, etc. but that is a bit different).
