Just noticed you have two fury's, how well does Crossfire work? I tried it over 3 years ago and when it worked it was great.

It doesn't, its terrible, got my 2nd card disabled, and has been for over a year now, i only re-enable it, when i fancy going back through HL2 and the episodes (which ive got Fakefactory modded), and the Metro games, as it works in them.

I'm going to look forward too see WccfTech quote you on that in their next big leak :p
If only he played along. That would have definitely would have caught their eye. You would have got an article pop up saying according to our "sources"...

Well I'm glad he didn't I was about to start messaging him with offers of anything goes for a quick peek
It would have been a great had he played along. Would have got people panting searching ebay and sending messages. Lol

if that seem obvious to you, don't you think AMD engineers would come to the same conclusion ?

What would the engineers have to do with it? Engineers don't sell products. What matters is what makes a profit, not how well it works. There would be a market for 4GB Vega cards even if they were severely bottlenecked by lack of memory above 1080p, as long as they were significantly cheaper than 8GB Vega cards. I think a more important question (from a profit point of view) would be to what extent that bottleneck (if it exists) would affect overall sales of Vega.

AMD’s Full RX Vega Lineup leaked: Fastest ‘VEGA Nova’ cheaper than GTX 1080 Ti at $599

Oh this is hilarious. It's not even a leak, it's just speculation/rumours from some guy on reddit who merely claimed his info was legit. I remember the people posting jokes that WCCFTech would use that post as a source for their news, but I guess some other site beat them to it. I'd link the Reddit post, but I cba this early in the morning.

I was looking at upcoming Volta stuff and it seems to me that AMD's biggest bet is the node shrink for 7nm.

Even assuming best-case scenario where Vega has an impeccable launch and comes in at >1080ti performance, Nvidia will push forward the consumer Volta cards a bit and by Q1 2018 will leapfrog AMD again.

Now, my feeling is that Volta would not be nearly as impressive were it to use 16nm. The half-node improvement at 12nm makes for a world of difference. If we don't get a 7nm Vega by Q3 2018, people will forget what it's like to have a high-end AMD GPU...

Won't be half as bad as what we have now. As long as their 7nm Navi is out in 2019 (most likely won't be 2018) then they will be fine. They will just have to reduce price on Vega.

If Vega comes out with poor price for performance then I may just wait until Volta hits which will no doubt affect the price of Vega and buy Vega then :p

Completed Prey which was the last big game I was interested in 2017, so I can be more patient if need be. Probably not though :o:D

Do you think VEGA will run hot? I mean... AMD has a history of its new "boundary pushing" tech running like lava. Any ideas or thoughts as to Vega?

They've opened the window for others sites like WCCF to do an article quoting that site as the source and adding a disclaimer, I think the info they claim is a leak is nothing more than a nerd writing down what is obvious to anyone with half a brain, AMD will release cards to compete with Nvidia's at similar prices, It's not Rocket science is it?
