Thermalright Le Grand Macho RT ?
If reviews are to be believed, it seems incredible. Better than the Noctua D15 even, and less money.

I think mine ( D15S ) looks great, and I have Corsair Dominators without an issue.
It also beats the snot out of my old H110i GT that had Noctua IPPC 2000RPM fans on it. Significantly quieter; and superior cooling.
Highest peak temps in AIDA 64 after hours was 60 degrees, with all cores at 4Ghz. In actual work loads after hours on a project the highest I've seen is 57 degrees.
At Stock settings in AIDA64 my CPU never had a core exceed 50 degrees.
This is all with one fan that's rpm range is 900rpm - 1150rpm
It handily beat my 280mm AIO that I installed Noctua IPPC fan on as well. Cheaper; quieter, cooler, and leak and pump failure free.

Looks impressive - cooler and quieter than even Noctua's stalwarts and cheaper. Can't see any AM4-compatible ones on sale yet though.

From the sounds of it, Ryzen isn't "8pack approved"
I think it's mainly because he's an overclocker and with AMD auto overclock he isn't needed. Everyone can get amazing performance with little input.
With Intel he's needed!, had to bin them, delid them etc just to get them to work at the performance that they should be working at.
It seems that there is a small amount of room for overclocks on Ryzen but in general they are coming out running full speed.
With Intel they've restricted the performance so they can release another range in six months time at higher clocks and call it a new....
Unfortunately the only review exists doesn't have the Predator 360 (bought it £199 from OCUK on 26/1/2016 and while expensive is AMAZING) , and the one does exist the only 360 AIO is the TT one
Indeed I will agree with you, the D15 is great considering it is in par of a 240mm AIO if the aiflow is good or case is open......

And as value for money the D15 is miles better than 240mm AIO, let alone 120mm ones!
The D15 is great
I use to do a fair few AIO and some customs for builds but found them more problematic so i stick with Air now and most of the time will use noctua depending what the client wants ...
too many variables can go wrong with water like to keep things simple and air is that

I'm using a Le Grand Macho RT on my current system, purchased it back in January. It has an AM4 compatible backplate out of the box. I'll have a look on the box and see if there is a build date.
Edit: Can't see any kind of build date on the box. Would think most recent stock would have the AM4 compatible backplate. Failing that, Thermalright will send you one.

I think you can, the included TY-147B fan I think has the same mounting hole spacing as a 120mm fan. Having said that, the fan does just clear the first RAM slot although it is very close.
Most high end air coolers are approaching that kind of weight (some even heavier). As long as it has a properly designed backplate and mounting system, it's a non issue.

They do if you understand the context, but not for this platform yet.
You have a custom loop on a BWE system, I'd expect you would have experienced how better cooling can aid overclocking. (Lovely build btw)
I basically just need ANY asetek gen 4 compatible mounting ring and backplate and I'm golden
Finally got my "drawer" build done (2 x200mm coolermasters pulling air into a 60Wx30Hx45L "box" mounted on drawer runners in a cabinet with holes in the side for the 200mm fans, 2x240mm AIO's on the back for CPU+GPU) so I'm running my 980ti about as hard as it'll go, it reaches 43c under load and the 2600K at 4.4ghz sits at 42c.
Cannot fudging WAIT to drop a 1700X or 1400X in this and see what XFR thinks to it
One of the 200mm fans is basically throwing air straight over the VRM's too so I should be able to go with a slightly cheaper board with less phases (so run hotter) and still have good vdroop control/etc.
