I'll be going for the price/performance sweet spot, really don't need more than 8 cores so it's going to depend how much better the 3700x/3800x successor is for me to swap.

Want to see what latency is like on the 8 core too and gaming performance overall, roll on 5pm

Judging by the 3100X vs 3300X single CCX performance they should do with the 8cores anyway (plus we've got the extra IPC and clockspeed to come)

I wanted the 12 core, but as I do a lot of gaming I'm wondering if the 8 core will be the gaming champ due to the CCX structure.

Honestly can't see why it wouldn't be, but never know maybe AMD have secretly managed to get 12 cores on single CCX

Do we think that it's going to be like the 3080 launch where websites crash and there is no stock for months? Looking to shift my 3900X into my partners PC and sell her 2700X and get myself the 5900X
