American Guns (gunsmoke)

The first season of SOG was reather good to be honest, but with each season you started to notice it got more and more scripted as time went on.

Pitty as I give up watching it in the end.

I tend to find that this is fairly common with shows like these. Take Pawn Stars for example which seems to be heading into a more and more scripted direction with each episode. Mythbusters is another good example when you compare the early episodes with the new ones, they become a lot more polished and lose some of their charm.

Just watched the first esp of gunsmoke and it was ok, but there's one thing I can't stand and that is the cut away sences! For example, when testing a gun to see if it will fire, and they are just about to pull the trigger and then all of a sudden they cut away and start to show it all again adding nothing but 10 seconds to the dam show.

What bugs me about these shows are the in episode catch ups. I normally watch on Netflix so thankfully no adverts but it's tiresome for them to recap what has happened every 20 mins, presumably for people who normally switch channels during ad breaks.

Does anyone know what happened to American guns, I was series linking it and it doesnt seem to be on now. Has it ended or what?

+1 I also think it is stupid

I mean are americans that tarded that they cannot remember what was happening in a show 3 minutes ago ?????????

Sons of Guns is absolutely dire. I just cannot stand American-style editing. They edit in fake reactions and dramatic pauses constantly.

Funny thing is, if you look over at Gunsandammo's website, where you'll find the Sons of Guns (and ammo) video blogs, you'll generally find a whole different side to redjacket, and certainly, a more respectable side.

Havent seen any of theese shows, but ive watched a few episodes of future weapons. Some great bits on sniper rifles. And the guy presenting the show is an ex navy seal so he knows what hes on about.

Future Weapons could watch Mack & his programs all day long.
It covers every thing imaginable, MK44 Bushmaster Cannon, Gate Crasher, Mk 110 Naval Gun, the list is endless, give you a great insight into modern weapons & future weapons.
