An/A [number]

How old are you?

If you're anything older than 5 then you should go back to nursery and learn the english language again.

I bet your the type of person who says "brought" instead of "bought".

(Sorry if that seems harsh, i'm in a bad mood!)

I bet you're the type who uses "your" instead of "you're".

;)

Ok, the whole "an hero" thing is/was an internet meme - we've got that.

When it comes to hotel and historic, for example, that's a whole different kettle of fish. Saying "an hotel" whilst pronouncing the "h" is the sort of thing done by people who rhyme the word "house" with "mice." It is wrong, it has always been wrong and BBC newsreaders have often been guilty of it. Saying "an hotel" whilst dropping the "h," i.e. "an 'otel," is technically correct (as an alternative) but is archaic.

It's just Heroes. It's on Wednesday nights, at 9PM on BBC2. No "A" or "An" in front of it. Just HEROES.

No, you're thinking of anarchic. Like this very forum :D

(Which is an anarchic forum, not a anarchic forum. And the plural of that is forums, not fora.)
