Have you seen in the new IGN movie? Has a really good fighting scene with a guard outside a dungion entrence, looked really good, he sliced the guy playing and he had blood all down his sword lol.

I plan to make an Imperial theif because that just sounds really cool, following people about, killing them if they are alone or just stealing there gear. I mean with the radient AI system you can follow people about for a day or three and get to know there general time table, then when they go out in the morning you can nip in and make off with there loot lol.

Or, you can just murder them if they ever go for a walk in the woods and then see if they have a key (Unknown if house keys are yet implimented or not).

Well if you think your computer can handle it then get it for the PC :) if not then the 360 should do.

I dont have one myself but thats something I have always liked about the consoles, the games will always run at decent fps without having to spend a few bob on upgrades.

Im gonna sell some stuff on Ebay, got an old x52 joystick i never use and loadsof old games. With the money I make im gonna preorder the collectors edition and buy some more RAM :)

so what chars are you going to make first ?

First of all I plan to make a Bow/short-sword Imperial male, with some magic ability. Hes going to be a ex-gladiator who chose to follow the Dark Brotherhood and now assasinates people.

Occasionaly he will just stalk people around of his own free will and kill them to see what he can find :).

I am confiddent that my X800 GTO2 (overclocked) can handle game at decent settings, when I buy that extra RAM I will have about 2.75GB in total :)

Then this could entice more into the RPG realm :)

Already got me intrested just looking at the previews.

I have never played another RPG game except MMO's, I usually play FPS or RTS, if its pulling in new fans to the genra even before its released just imaging how many it will pull in when some FPS'ers plays it at there mates house :)

Bah, I've been waiting for ages for this game now. This cruel new release date will prove to be a false hope like all the others. :(

The previews recently said they were playing a near if not final version of the game, and Bethesda have said that they will announce soon the official final release date, within the next two weeks I think (The announcement not the rlease date).

just preordered the Collectors edition, I want that 100+ page guide :)

I can safely say I have never been intrested in any RPG game before, this will be my first, and its become one of my most awaited games ever :)

Just 24 days to go!

Never played any of the elder scroll games. Would I understand this one? Looked at getting morrowind, but I dont really have the time at the moment to start ANOTHER game.

Yes, each story is different from what I can understand. This is not linked with morrowind at all except that its set in the same place... I think.

Game is confermed to ship in the US on the 20th, info on the Europe date is... well sketchy:

Pete Hines (PR for Bethesda) said:
Expect the game in stores in the US as early as the 21st. The date in Europe may be a few days after, but it should be that week pretty much everywhere

Can only assume that its 24th.

That site says postage can take 3 to 4 days.

Those who shall not be named have on there website 3-5 days delivery, even though when I have used them I get the item on the day of release or the day after release.

So im not to bothered about the reliability of the site that sells it for 24.99, that and they all ship from the same location.

allright, now all thats outof the way.

Lets resume discussions :)

What are you guys going to do with the Septim that comes with the collectors edition? a lot of people are saying there going to punch a hole in the top of it and make it into a necklace... Not me, its just going to be something good to look at. I suppose you could weigh it, and then time it by the amount you have in the game to find out how heavy your wallet is lol....

I'll camp near a gently babbling stream near the comforting glow of a patch of luminous russla, and when i wake, my adventure will truly begin.

Didnt know you could camp, I thought you had to rent out a room tosleep in or go to your house to sleep.

yup,

yup, some great new screenshots released recently, the forests look fantastic!

11 days left ppl, so close, soon enough you will be breaking into the local shop for your daily purchase of arrows and maybe a new sword, or hunting down the haire to the throne in the weaked city with gates to oblivion spawning everywhere.

Im gonna stock up of snacks and soft drinks, clean out my room and format my hard drive ready for oblivion :). Close the curtains and turn the lights off ready for my Oblivion adventure to begin!
