Confirmation that the Council are the ones picking it up from this morning's video.

Now I'm pretty certain the next drop off will be done on Saturday morning around 4am as I'm pretty sure now this must be when the phantom bag dumper (I'm suspecting..) gets dropped off from the main road from wherever they work, walks around 50yds down this road and dumps the bag, carries on walking to their address further on down this road (I'm hoping..)

The plan is: I will be lying in wait and will attempt to follow the phantom to their place of residence, on finding the phantoms residence I then plan on returning to the yellow bag in order to retrieve it and then take it to the phantoms address and deposit it quite unceremoniously through the phantoms very own letterbox. I would imagine this would be a quite significant mind **** for the perpetrator when they discover it! I will of course endeavour to videotape this whole event for posterity and your titillation and amusement.

You'll need to do some more checks.
It looks like he know theres a 'package' by the way he pulls over to the other side of the road.
How visible is the package from further down the road.
Is he putting the 'package' in the cab (its hard to tell from the pics) and not in the back?

What better cover than a council refuse collector picking up a bag of rubbish.

Sorry, the .gif is a bit deceiving he was there much longer than that as he emptied the dog **** bin and took the yellow bag, I just cut all the waiting time out to make the .gif easier to upload and you could see the bag was there before and gone when he left, he was there over a minute easily and the camera is set at a frame every 2secs as it only takes a 16GB card and fills up too quickly on 1sec or Motion Detect settings sadly.

Still, it's strange. Do follow the dropper but don't put the bag through his letterbox yet: I'm sure we can find far more subtle and unnerving ways of messing with his head!

It's a shame it happens at 4am as I really would have no hesitation in hiring a marching band and loads of people to come around the corner and light him up and cheer him etc. in the act, but I know my neighbours would not really appreciate it much.

Disappointingly the Phantom seems to have had a day off, was watching carefully until from 03:40-04:45 hoping to catch them in the act, tried a different camera hoping the night filming would be slightly better but it was far worse :S.

I've been going through the video footage from this week and last week hoping to catch them on their way to work, I figure they might have been caught during actual daylight carrying the bag but no luck there either.

I did see one very suspicious character on the footage from last night who seemed very intent on looking around as if looking for a camera (Has the Phantom seen this Thread?...) They also happened to have white trainers on which can also be made out in the actual dumping video but they weren't holding a SPAR bag .

People really need to read the whole Thread... I already know what's in the bag. I don't care about the contents of the bag. What is in the bag is completely irrelevant. If it was in any way, shape or form relevant to this Thread it would have been already divulged. If you really, really want to know what the bag contains, read the ****ing Thread.

After the Phantom failed to dump any SPAR bags for a couple of weeks I had pretty much given up on this as I was thinking they had stumbled upon this Thread somehow, then on my way out to town earlier something of a very familiar colour caught my eye...

Yup, it's the SPAR bag back once more but this time it's in the other area once again and looks like it's been purposefully been hidden under the foliage for once, rather than just dumped where everyone can see it.

No idea when this was dumped though, could have been there a while.

Not sure if they has already been suggested by someone as I can't remember... Go to Spar and get a green Spar bag fill it up and dump it in exact same spot. The perpetrator will be mind blown.

Well, the last bag dumped is still in the same spot when I checked it today, the early hours of tomorrow seems to be their favourite dumping time and the Video Camera has all been set up to cover the lamp-post, so they will either double dump at the tree which will hopefully be covered visually by me (If I don't fall asleep...) or at the usual dog **** bin/lamp-post spot which will also be covered with video, they could have course just not show up at all...

The OP isn't opening the bag because he wants to continue getting attention from everyone online. Any normal person would have looked by now.

No, I just don't care what's in the bag. It's also pretty hilarious from my point of view that people are throwing their dummies out of the pram over what is in the bag. (Read the Thread, it's a semi-transparent bag, you don't have to open it to see what's in it...)

Is there anything that could possibly be in that bag that would make it acceptable to just dump out on a street? No. Ergo, the contents of the bag are completely irrelevant.

Oh and I am definitely not interested in attention, I genuinely couldn't give a ****. If you don't like the Thread, which was started as a bit of fun over the sheer inanity of a plastic carrier bag getting dumped pretty consistently in the same spot over a period of several Months then don't read it.

I DO NOT care what the contents of the bag are.

I don't care if they are Nuclear Secrets, Class A Drugs, Alien entrails from some secret experiment, smutty magazines, even tickets to Rhyl. I can see through the bag and can see it is just rubbish. Rubbish. If you are so interested in rubbish, go dive in your bin, or your neighbours bin. Go down the local dump, you'll go nuts there if you like rubbish, you really will.

Will knowing what the contents are stop it from happening? - No.

Will knowing the contents magically explain everything? - No.

All I want to know is who is doing it and why, because it's just completely bizarre. End of.

Apologies to those who were as genuinely bemused by it all as myself. Thread has been trashed by a few spoilt brats who have decided that I am for some reason 'Trolling' them because I won't acquiesce to their demands.
