Ana de Armas fans told they can sue over Yesterday trailer

I must have seen that trailer too, sat waiting for her to appear but a no show
God knows how they arrived at the 5m claim.Stranger things have happened like the $1m claim a woman got from Mcdonalds for serving her hot coffee :D

She was completely justified in her claim, whatever amount she actually got. She was initially only asking for enough to cover the medical expenses for the severe injuries she suffered due to McDonalds having a policy of knowingly and deliberately endangering customers. IMO criminal charges against the people responsible for that policy would have been justified. It wasn't about "hot coffee". There are plenty of examples of frivolous litigation, but that isn't one of them.

Not sure whether the case should have been allowed, but I hope they lose the case regardless. Probably the studio will settle and those involved will get an undeserved payday.

Can understand the complaint, but ridiculous amount being asked for. The judge should have awarded them their $3.99 refund and left it at that.
