Looks like a really nice car, shame that Scoobys are now becoming the choice for many a council estate urchin, it’s really taken away some of the past glory to me :(

Hope you enjoy it anyway, looks mean.

Scort.

That thing is the nuts!

Very nice motor. I plan on having a blob eye WR1 in the future, and this makes me want one even more. Green with envy.

oh another Scooby owner..like the black blob eyes....sti with ppp are rated to what 320bhp ish most I have seen on the RR are about 305/310

mine only a STI so about 276bhp..but then I got a extra 0.5ltr...(White Hawkeye)

enjoy mate :)

oh there a mapper on www.scoobycity.co.uk that seems to be getting good results out of cars..his own Impreza iswell over 500bhp now

GJUK

Cheers for all the comments guys ! GJUK, i thought PPP was actually 305 as stated by subaru ?

Quick question for any scoobie bods on here, at the moment the car is running bridgestone RE050's which seem to be a pretty good tyre (alltho its hard to tell as this thing grips soo much :D ) The fronts need to be changed at the end of the month and i dont know what to do ?

Re050's again

Re070's - This car would have come from the factory with these, there kind of a cross between a sports tyre / semi slick and look the nuts

Toyo T1Rs - These are rated highly on imprezas and cost only £75 which meens i could afford to wack some on the rear in a few months too

What do we think guys ?

Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas ??

Toyos are brilliant on the car there's no doubt about that.

Re070s are semi slick type tyres, when warm they stick !! But when cold conditions they're not brilliant, and suffer from tramlining.

Re050s as said before they're WRX tyres, you want something better :p

Sam, I had 225/40/18 Eagle F1 Assymetrics on mine and they were absolutely brilliant. I preferred them to the PS2's I had previously, especially in the wet. They were only £103 each from bracknell tyres, fitted.

the man speaks the truth.....Eagle all the way :)

Im so tempted by he RE070s, there not great in the wet but are one sexy tyre :D Think i will go down the F1 route to be honest .....

I really want some lowering springs and a set of gauges .... *puts credit card away

Bridgestones have rigid sidewalls, so expect a bone-jarring ride (which will get worse if you have the car lowered, and/or have Prodrive springs fitted) and sudden breakaway at the limit. Eagle F1s start to lose traction a little earlier, but breakaway is far more progressive, and easier to control. And the ride is far more comfortable.
