Just downloaded mine now. Took 140 secs to download the ~50mb file. That makes it about 350k a sec, which is pretty pathetic, as recently as 3 months ago you could get more than double that speed. But by no means unacceptable I suppose. Will try the game out later maybe, I'm on a Burnout Paradise Demo tip tonight, I think....

I've downloaded it and considering it was free its okish. Doubt I'll play it much though, pretty crap unless I'm bored.
 
Does anyone esle find this game to be quite hard? I find the only way to win at the moment is to hold the middle point and hope for the best, if i end up losing it its game over half of the time...

Enemies are a lot more numerous than you and seem to cap/decap distant poins faster. Your own point begins to decap even if you are in the same area as the point and an enemies there aswell, this also makes it very hard to cap points as if an enemy comes close enough to the point you will lose progress twice as fast as you can gain it. The environment also makes it unnecessarily hard to find close enemies sometimes, they can be blowing holes in you behind an object and its hard to fight back if you cant even see them.

It would be nice if there was some way to control the ai playing on your side and maybe increase the respawn time so there are consequences when you die, it would stop the constant stream of enemies

Or maybe i just suck...

Yeah i do find it pretty hard every time I have tried to play online it just says my team has no bases and I can only quit out

And single player the enemies just seem to keep coming after a bit and running away usually doesn't work :(
 
yeah its hard - i hold middle and just fire

the bubble man is the best thing to use i find - that vehicle is poor

got a 10G though heh :(
 
Played the trial awhile back. Sucked then, sucks now. Why cant they give us a decent game? I dont have Geometry Wars, only the trial (dont really see the point in the full game anyway as its just the same thing over and over), but i would have liked it.

how about because thats one of the most popular XBLA games? Loads of people would have been ****** off because they already have it.
 
Guess I will have to pick this up seen as its free... I hardly play arcade games though, I should really get into it, expecially seen as I got the 10 free games not too long ago.
 
This game was actually great, awesome fun online

Took me a while to realise what to do, but when I got the hang of it I came 2nd :)
