I've found the Waze routing to be a bit suspect at times as it has taken me some strange ways. However, I'm happy to suck that up for the reporting. It saved my clean license one time coming down the A55 towards Conwy when there was a mobile camera tucked up behind a bridge that I would have missed.
Android crew, are you using waze or Google maps for navigation?
