I was going to say, for that money you could get a nice second hand NUC or new Fire Tv.

Best bang for buck in UK is a pi2 with free openelec at around £40-50 all in with mem card, box etc.

Plays all content inc 24p properly and gui is fast.

android boxes tend not only dont play 24p properly but the generic ones like the M8 tend not to get updated and bugs not fixed. (I have one)

it's not just generic boxes that go unsupported. Minix is absolutely crap when it comes to support.

I have a Minix Neo X8-H Plus. It works great but was a fair bit more expensive than most but I wanted something that used Kodi as well as Snes/Megadrive/Arcade Emulators etc.

How much would it be for a decent NUC id get one but not sure what to look for. That or the PI2 i pulled the plug on Droidstick they don't look very pro and there website looks kind of false if that makes sense

Same reason I got the z64a. You can play games on it as well.

If you want to just watch films you can get something for half the price. Was well worth the extra £40 imo
