Anyone suffer from Anger Issues?
Past 2 days I have been in a foul mood and have taken it out on my family with my mood...Any advice for controlling it or relieving it? - Not sure why / what has caused it either...

Past 7-8 weeks I have been getting very snappy, but only last about 10-15mins and then im chilled again,
Last week I started snapping all the time, everytime I was around people, for no reason at all.
Past 2 days I have been snapping to the point where I have upset a few people closest to me, then an hour later I will realise I was an idiot and out of order, appoligise, then within a few mins of just talking, snap again and cause an arguement...

woke up this morning and felt really ****** off and not sure why...

I used to have a very short fuse that I couldn't control, 99% nice, 1% hell.

I remember once I accidentally walked in to a chair, in anger I put the chair through a window and jumped through the smashed window to carry on punching the **** out of the chair until I was covered in blood and it was in splinters. Now, that's just insane?

Take up boxing and/or do regular exercise - worked for me.

Occasionally have a bit of a temper, usually due to stress at work. My bad moods tend to be like flash fires though. Blazing hot, but gone very quickly.

You actually have to ask if what you did was insane?

Go for a walk, exercise, a hobby, talk about it. Just stop and think before you take it out on your loved ones.

I banged my arm on the corner of the car door while getting in the car and started booting the side of the car, nice dints in it now tho, which will need to be sorted :/

I put three windows through on my car when I had an argument with a friend, once again blood everywhere and quite a few people in tears/hysteria.

Not proud of it, hence the exercise regime.

And to think I'm supposedly a highly intelligent person, obviously something isn't exactly 'wired' to plan.

Diet and exercise (by diet I mean eat good food)

I used to be the same until I started the Gym, hit the weights and cardio, does wonders. :)

I used to do the whole 'red mist' rage thing between the ages of 8-12 as I was getting bullied at school.

Bizarrely, the teachers pro-actively helped me with it by making me a prefect, the responsibility (and authority) calmed me down loads and I have been more relaxed than a stoned sloth for the rest of my life :D

I have anger issues (i think or maybe its normal), I dont usually get angery, when I do its usually a very short sharp burst of anger and I do something stupid I instantly regret...

1) threw my laptop thru the kitchen window
2) threw the dog bowl thu the kitchen window
3) punched a door and broke my had (twice)
4) head butted a massive plate glass window then punched it and broke my hand
5) stabbed the hell out of the garrage door with a screw driver, now its got 6 holes in it....

Ah you see, the knack is to NOT break your own bones, just everything else around you!

:D

...go for a long walk or run!
