Hmmm, its ok, I think I prefer the older setting...i'll continue to play some more but it's not 'grabbing' me as much... :/

wow this has appeared from nowhere so to speak, the previous game was fantastic and looked stunning, will totally look into picking this up when its released, need more excuse to use my PC over those consoles. :D

Meh got bored. Maybe it's just not for me. Also **** you Ubisoft for making a game you can't close down properly. The advert loop kept playing I had to end the process. :(

Currently i have no sound after the intro videos (Ubisoft and Blue Byte videos).

Completed the first map some how, no idea of what i was doing, but scrambled through.

Until i can sort the sound, i wont be touching the demo.

I had no problem with sound, also had no advert loop problem.

Decent game, was kind of let down though as expected more but it is a demo.

I think the main problem is your not starting from the very grass roots of civilisation, you're dumped with "good" technology that is capable of amassing energy and resources easily.

In Anno 1404 you properly start a colony and get prosperous through time and it feels like a real achievement due to perseverence and well thought out villages.

I think further into the story though, eco balancing and underwater civs may change that.

I was a bit surprised when I saw 'missions' on the start menu?

It's an attractive game and runs at max everything on my 5850 1GB (resolution of 2048x)!
