Edit: Massive thanks to Overclockers for this, I've been lusting after this Palmersports trackday for ages but I've always been too tight to go for it. I'm plannig a PC rebuild this time next year, I won't be taking my business anywhere else :)

F3000 single seater, 3litre, 250bhp, 170mph, 6 speed paddle shift, West course, on slicks on what'll probably be a cold day (full power - low grip), should be more than orgasmic!!

Get watching those youtube vids for your braking points boys.

The top 10 laps are populated by such esteemed names as Jolyon Palmer 1.14.6, Martin Brundle 1.15.54, Sir Chris Hoy 1.15.8, Colin Turkington 1.16.3.

AL here. Though it would have been nice to find those extra few hundredths to clinch the top spot (I'll save the racing driver excuses for another time ;)) I'm completely stoked about qualifying for PalmerSport. Turns out my 7 hour round trip to OcUK HQ was worth it...!

Congrats to everyone else who made the cut, especially Rich for setting the fastest time. And a huge thanks to OcUK for the opportunity. See you guys on Saturday :D

Forgot to mention, it's actually my birthday tomorrow. So thanks OCUK for the best birthday present I've ever had. On my 30th I got a Rally experience in Wales, but this should be way, way better.
 
I came down on the 24th of November and booked the appointment 13.30. I set a time of 1.37.1 which was noted by the staff member at the time. My name is not listed on the top 6?
 
When the second round commences will it be the same car / track combo? I just bought Project Cars on the Steam sale and want to get practising :)

As a tip to prepare for the VR experience (if you don't have one) move as close to the screen as you can, the perspective is very different to screens and makes spotting braking points a bit tricky to adapt.
