Annoying computer problem, minor lag spikes during games

You have MSI Live Update installed, I'd only use it to check if any new drivers are available but then download manually from website. Most importantly, never use Live Update to update BIOS.

You could also uninstall the Killer Network software if you have that installed, and just install the driver on its own. "On-Board LAN Drivers - Killer Network Driver (driver only)" from the webpage for your motherboard. ke2400w10-x64 folder. Right-click on the "Setup Information" file in that folder and choose Install.

Try uninstalling the Corsair software too.

Just to trim unnecessary/sometimes problematic stuff in the hope there's some improvement.

I already removed that. I even reinstalled drivers in a good order, problem still persists.

Also, I need this Killer Network Driver, for some reason my internet cable won't get recognized without it.

I'll remove that software soon, test it out.

Understood.

Yes you need the driver itself as it's the LAN driver. What you don't need is the whole Killer software package. I gave you the instructions for only installing the driver itself.

When I download driver itself it just shows this in the folder, what else do I need to do?

You haven't extracted/unzipped the folder you downloaded. Do that first. Then when you look in the extracted folder and right-click the file you will see the option to Install in the list.

Yeah, nothing happens other than the driver silently installing. Your ethernet will be working though, unless there's some problem.

I took out my wireless USB stick, still no connection via internet cable. :c

I tried installing killer suite again, now I can't get internet with that now like I did before. And it's stuck in my control panel even tho I press uninstall 50 times.

It won't go away, even rebooted.

Reboot. Try just the driver again. This time give it a minute after you choose "Install", then test internet, check your Network and Sharing Center to see if Ethernet needs re-enabling.

There's no good reason why the driver alone shouldn't work, so it may point to an issue that could be related to the latency.

Still doesn't work. :c

I made a video of the steps I took.

I don't have "Other Devices".

What about under Network adapters? Do you see the Killer in there?

Check it's date and version match the driver you tried to install.

If it doesn't, then manually force the driver to install (have disk, point to the directory, then force it to install even if not signed).

Then you might need to uncheck the box to stop Windows installing the driver from the Update catalog which is probably the broken driver.

I fixed my internet problem. As for the game stuttering, I may of found the culprit. The Corsair Utility program which was installed for my k70 keyboard, I removed that and I don't think I'm getting any noticeable stuttering, at least not as bad.

How can I fix this? I hate having the keyboard at default red.
