Annoying Problem with Zonealarm (security suite)

Hi, i have a problem with zonealarm continiously accessing my hard drive every few seconds, HD light only flashes for a split second but it's definately doing something!
I've turned text logging off but it's still doing it! Seems like it's using virtual memory/swap file for something stange, i checked with the filemon app and it's definately zonealarm causing the problem!
Anyone else had this issue?

Hi. I saw this the other day and meant to answer. This is the Security Suite version of ZoneAlarm yes? As in you've paid for it and it has an antivirus as well?

Well my suggestion would be to remove it and try something like Avast for antivirus and Comodo (2.4 or 3) or OnlineArmor for a free firewall.

If you've paid a lot of money fairly recently for ZA Security Suite and don't want to dump it then I would suggest checking out the ZA forums.

Does that ring any bells? Perhaps you can get the antivirus section of ZA to stop accessing the hard drives?

Yes anti virus is switched off now and still doing it!
Had zonealarm for years, probably doing it on my old PC too, didn't have the luxury of a hard drive light back then!
