I always thought if I won the lottery I'd not tell anyone either. But I would change my life style slightly, I'd head out each morning pretending to go to work and then just enjoy myself each day :) Then back home to the missus normal time.

I thought about that and it WILL get bored and tedious trying to think of new things to keep you busy. Your job is now trying to look busy.

That or you can get seriously good at Golf, and whatever you do, eventually you will get caught, all it takes is someone to see you somewhere doing something and mention it to your missus "oh you were at so and so the other day?".
 
I'd both love and hate to win the lottery, I'm not a popular person and I'm smart enough to know this would change the moment people knew I owned lots of cash. I'd soon get sick of telling them all to go **** themselves.

To the guy that won, maybe wait till things get more serious, if you ever get to a point of having kids then let her know, or when you know the relationship has gotten serious. Or just don't mention it, bank it and live off the intrest but keep up a job.

Please fully star out all swearing in future. Thank you.

start up your own business.

run the interest from your lotto win through your company accounts. ;)

ergo the missus thinkgs your a succesful businessman.

This is what I said, it will keep him busy and he can live a normal life which slowly gets better and better with time.

Personally I'd be looking to get the lotto cash into a trust or something so if the marriage goes horribly wrong, I don't lose half of it!

Women are odd creatures, so it's quite possible that once the missus knows she can get her hands on half of it, she won't really worry about putting so much effort into the marriage because she wins either way.

I understand not all women are like this but I've had my fair share of gold digging girlfriends so just my 2p.

I'll be going round people's trust, and doing the 'from' e-mail like someone's e-mail.

Like that, the OP will think that person sent it from his real e-mail, when in fact, its me from a fake e-mailer.

Not a good idea because you can see what IP addresses have logged in to your gmail account. Not difficult for people to create a new account themselves :p

doubly not good because everyone and their dog can now access that email account and find out where the confessions were coming from, not just ocUK members
