I knew OcUK was/is heavily car influenced from Spie and other Nouveau riche people. This just confirms my feelings.

(Not that it matters in the slightest )

You can't see if after those posts he was suspended or not, either way he was clearly punished on multiple occasions which ended up with him being permanently excluded - can't see how that can be classed as a lack of moderation...:confused:

I have strong suspicions that a high profile member of the forums is a complete fake. He portrays a hero image of himself, will argue anything and is seemingly an expert on everything. The problem is that this guy has legendary google skills and if I were to call him out on any discrepancies in his stories he could just google his way out of it. I'm sure one day this guy will slip up and the resulting fallout will be lol worthy.

I'm not saying that happens now, but reading those posts the impression you get is that he got away with what he was doing.

Anyway like someone else has already said that was 3 years ago.

You have to admit he did get a more lienient treatment from the mods back then compared to the rest. Suspended many times when it should have been a ban etc.

I missed him getting found out though, I recall the thread where he went on a bender in Thailand and started getting quite emotional/confrontational but I think I missed his actual outing and resultant ban. Do you remember how he was found out?

I know very well indeed, can't talk about it here though I'm afraid.

And there are plenty of people with much worse records who have been granted equal if not greater leniency, one very high profile poster springs to mind ;)

And yes, true - the reason mods are human as opposed to being automated :)
