You would hate to know the quote i just got from the first company i tried (NUD) for a 2.0 Focus. £1095 fully comp for it. Not bad thinking it is accually faster then the 1.7 Puma.

They were always a lot more when I got quotes from them :(

I know most things are faster than the Puma, but I don't care, I think it looks a lot better than the Focus and I'm more bothered about that than speed. I dont like risking my licence :D
 
Why do you need to spend £9k on a financed up first car?

Seriously you'll get a nice Focus for under £4k - it's only your first car.

its all just ideas at the mo, i may well do that - i may get a £300 banger.

Depends on my job situation at the time, and other things.

well it might still get me there, but i may have to push it :D

but its a fair few months off yet any hoo - no harm in being prepared and having an idea of what to get.

For £4k you can get yourself a nice Focus. Very good for the money.

That's if you pass mate, they'll take you for all the money you're worth before even considering giving you a fair test. Take your test in Clacton or something dude. Southend is a joke.

Wouldn't have been me - I've driven there so many bloody times now, I could never forget!

Worst thing is watching for the special speed cameras they put up on the A13 :eek:
 
Recently bought a Fiesta Zetec Climate on discount, and although it is quite a lot of money, the discount really helps. The Zetec S is really nicely kitted out (its no mondy ghia x), but I'm really chuffed with my fiesta, even though its my first car.

If you really want it, with the discount its worth having. Make sure you get the price for the car thats OTR from the ford employee discount price list, as they will try to stick on PDI and Tax etc etc but you can blag it down. Insurance wasnt too crazy either, £1500 20 yr old with 0ncb.

If I didnt get the discount then I wouldnt have got one (£10k otr!) but with it, its just worth thinking about. When its time for my next car I will be looking for something a lot classier, but for now i'm sorted.

EDIT - the standard HU in the fiesta is pretty good, the speakers sound a lot better than the ones in my dads 05 focus.
