Hello all,

Ive got a stable 4.5ghz oc (idle in 30's around 45-50's playing online) currently prime 95 and intel burn all seem fine i have no problems . My only question is should i be worried about my vcore? it sits at a maximum of 1.448v and i think this is a little high ? also my cpu drops down when it doesn't need to run at 4.5ghz and as it drops the vcore drops also to about 1.25, and this has not caused stability issues so should i keep smart stepping on as i am led to believe that it increases the life of the cpu as its not always running at max.

Antec Khuler box - cpu air cooler (its massive >.< )
 
should i keep the smartstep thing ( it reduces the cpu when not needed then pumps it back up when your on higher loads ) ?
 
Thanks Jon yer i ran a quick torture test on it and never went above 1.328 under 100% load so pretty happy and idles at 32 degrees seems pretty good for my first OC... guessing they made it a lot easier >.<
 
Now Running stable at 1.312V. under prime 95 the hottest it got was 60c under full load so im happy :) idle around 32ish .

You wont need anywhere near that much mate, im currently on 4.5ghz on 1.328 as i was BSOD - 1E Code all the time >.< still playing with it but at 1.328 is giving me 32-40 max on idle and never really over 60 full whack really, but i have got a massive cooler >.<
