Another £550 build

Aside from upgrading the BIOS,

1. What good heatsinks are there that will fit Raijintek Arcadia Mid Tower USB 3.0 Case?

2. Are there any with pre-applied thermal paste and that won't require me to put a back-plate on the motherboard?

Yes I'm sure it's mounted right. I've also tested it on Elite Dangerous at ultra settings where it gets a more acceptable 60c for the CPU during play. It's just on BF4 where I noticed it would be hitting 94c.

Would a temp that high do any damage to the cpu?

Its not good, the max temp before throttling is err 100C I think or something like that (google the TJmax for your CPU).

Download CPU-Z and post a pic of the main tab while under load to see what the reported Vcore is and get realtemp which I find is an accurate temp program.

OK, I was getting my temp reading from speccy. Anyway, are there any heatsinks you would recommended? Preferably one that I don't have to install a backplate to the motherboard to and comes with thermal paste pre-applied.

I use this Raijintek cooler in the Midi case- http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-001-RT&groupid=701&catid=2330&subcat=2666

It fits fine and keeps my cpu at 27-29c on idle and I don't think I've seen it above 60c under load

I guess I'll take the plunge with a back-plated heatsink, it's gonna be a bit of a pain to unplug everything though. Any around £30-£40 you'd recommended? I was looking at the one posted just above, however I might spend a bit more just because I don't plan on doing this again any time soon.
