Another Brazilian for Man Utd

I'm sure he's working on midfield aswell.
He may be looking at Kerlon as a replacement for Saha.

If that's the case I have no problem with it - it's good we are looking at some young talent as we need some players to beef out the squad now even SAF can't ignore Scholesy/Giggs and GNev are on their last legs.

What I'm afraid of though is that we get a repeat performance of the January transfer window (when we bought two players we really didn't need at the time - don't get me wrong I like Vidic but we had a lot bigger problems at the time) and don't spend money where the team needs it most.

Assuming Ruud goes, we really need to sign a similarly world class 15+ goal threat and that won't be cheap. I just don't want to see what little money we'll have left over from that ****** up a wall and end up with Liam Miller in midfield.

Brazil's best player in the world cup? hahahahaha
So good he's in the portuguese league right now.

Indeed, but then again the portugese league isn't exactly bad... Benfica knocked Man Utd and Liverpool out this season alone.

In 2002 he did all the hardwork so that Brazil could win it. He didn't have the skills, the flair or the charisma like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Cafu, Adriano, Robinho etc... but he did the simple jobs VERY well, much like Gilberto does now or Makalele for Chelsea.

i hate him already.

looks like a little gremlin.

and come on!... that seal! what is that about... how many fights in pubs will that cause.. how many controversial penalties.. dodgy freekicks.. and instant red cards will he produce.

he will be hated... his legs will get broken... in a way i feel sorry for him if he comes to the premiership.

little scroat.

oo look at me and my new trick... i can catch the ball in my shirt and run down the pitch with it..

what a pile... get ready for some serious head aches next year when your teams loses 2 men through red cards and loses a penalty in the 89th min when you play man utd.

imagine robbie savage trying to get the ball of the seal, he will break him in half :p

To be honest, I think that should be against the rules.

It's similar to getting the ball under your shirt or holding the ball in your hands in that if you're good at it, you can't lose it without being fouled. Ruins the game, because although looking impressive, there's nothing defense can do so he's free to run straight through to the goal unless the goalkeeper manages to catch it. He'd probably be fouled by that time anyway.

If he does that, he deserves to get broken legs.. ribs hips shins, arms, neck, back etc. :p

yeh... penalty.

man utd wont need a striker... just someone who can score from the spot.

it should be against the rules... if it happened in a park somebody would get a black eye for being a total tail.

apparently he tries to do it as much as possible...

A bit of an ott reaction over a player who is at least 3 yrs from playing for Man Utd in the first team. Basically what we are watching is a kid playing football showing off what he can do, did Ronaldinho not do the same at his age? He'll learn as he gets older that he'll be kicked all over the pitch if he tries that in the Premiership. I'm more concerned about getting central midfielders and a new striker this summer than buying young players who we won't see for years.
