**ANOTHER DEAL OF THE CENTURY - THIS TIME ITS ATI's TURN!**

Also bear in mind that even our regular prices on these parts is a good 25% cheaper than our competitors, so at these special pre-order prices do not hang around, these are gonna sell faster than a quick thing. I can forsee many customers buying these in pairs for crossfire. :D

I was very near to ordering 2x 6850's from one of your competitors which were priced at £111/£112 each but these deal blows that out of the water and then some! :D

A pair of HD6850 1GB cards in Crossfire is similar to a pair of HD5850 1GB cards and only requires a pair of PCI-E power connectors too meaning lower power consumption.

Edit!!

Here is a comparison between the cards:

Did a double take on the 5850 price, thought the £107.99 didn't include the VAT, think this will be my next card upgrade from a 4850 to tide me over until the next generation arrive...

Gibbo, maybe I'm missing something in the spec, but what is 'extreme' about these cards? (Other than the cooler). Can you change the voltage with them to get to 1000Mhz as with 'reference' 5850's ?

(Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome price for a brand new 5850 :-) )

I only have a 1280 *1024 monitor, would one of these be overkill? I have a 4850 and the increase in spec is impressive.

Providing your psu is up to the task then I wouldn't worry about it. You can slap on loads of AA and still get great frame rates.

Yea I would like to know as well. Can the Sapphire 5850 be voltage tweaked?

An HD5850 1GB is nearly twice the speed of an HD4850 when both are at stock clockspeeds.

What PSU do you have BTW and what CPU??

If you want to use DX10 or DX11 you will need to have Windows Vista or Windows 7.

Will look into power, I have a Corsiar 650, cpu Phenom 2 965.

I think I may just treat myself! It is twice the performance so I could have everything on max!

EDIT - ordered, thanks all!

Guy's at what sort of level do a pair of 5830's perform? Would they be of use for an eyefinity setup?
That price seem's like a steal

Essentially they are butchered 5870's which didn't quite make the grade I believe, so should you get them in XFire for approx £170 that is quite the deal :) I'm sure they could do eyefinity in all honesty.
