I was hardly abusive trust me, there was no personal insults at all, im not that sort of person. I had a verbal disagreement of what was going on etc, spawn rape and admin i felt wasnt doing his job as there was suspected cheaters, i was livid .

Not that EA is a great trust worthy company, but I'm not automatically going to side with you just because of what you've said.

I know what you are saying, but the fact is the hack happened WHILE it was linked to YOUR account. Does not matter your sons account was moved. Also swearing online is pretty childish, you 100% deserve a total ban.

So you should have stayed banned, I guess the fact you are banned again after being let of is karma. Swearing aside ban should stand for the hacking offense.

lets say, for instance, your wife uses your car as she does not have her own, speeds and is caught. should you also pay the price as it is your car?

Actions should indeed have a proportionate response. The proportionate response was obviously to ban him from the server that the admin in question ran.

But he's obviously then reported his account in the same way we report cheaters and stat padders on BF3.

So EA have then obviously no questions asked ... banned his account. Which is not proportionate at all.

If it's a speed camera/trap the car owner gets the fine anyway. Bad analogy

I was on about the opinion that is as buyers on these services, we don't own our games.

Ahhh yea, But thats what makes it worse, it wouldnt be his fine to pay even tho it's his car as he wasnt driving it at the time...

So would he pay the fine or get the wife to pay???

Fact is m8, it wouldn't happen you can make up all these little stories as much as you like. Fact is the above did happen and he got what he deserved. My wife speeding? chance would be a fine thing.............

I was not saying about the BF3 words, I am saying the orginal ban for hacking should have stayed and not been lifted.

So he can just spout abuse on other servers? Why not just ban cheaters on the server they cheated on, rather than banned them from the whole game?

How do you know EA "asked no questions"?

It is unfair to ban him from all the games for abuse, but certainly not unfair for a temporary ban from BF3 for the first offence.

Original ban did stay with guilty person, my son and his persona. Hence they did the transfer over to another ea account, this was EA themselves who did this.

Only reason it was tied to one account was for billing reasons on xbox thats all.
