So it's fair for the OP to be stuck with the FVF fees then, despite the "buyer" backing out (assuming that the account-hacked story is BS of course)?

There IS skin of the OP's nose, and there IS also money out of his pocket. That's why he needs to resolve the situation so he can at least claim his fees back from eBay.

The "FVF fee" will be refunded once the Non-Paying Bidder claim is finalised (the buyer will also get an Unpaid Item Strike against his account).

The "listing fee" will be credited to the sellers account once the item has been relisted and sold.
