Another Enzo gets split in half

I believe these are designed to split in half anyway, in much the same way that Formula 1 cars do, seperating the safety cell from the engine and possible fire, etc.

Thats what ive heard aswell.
You can see the fire wall one of the photos :)

Balls, I was wrong - it was Jackie Oliver and it happened at Rouen. Right car, right country though!

Such a waste of a fantastic car though, there must be more to this story than is being told though...
Allegedly he was racing a McMerc. Allegedly it's Stefan Erikkson, alleged counterfeiter and exec. at the shady Gizmonodo company. The car was UK registered.

Allegedly.

PS Allegedly

I really do hope people will stop buying rare sports cars and wasting them....
its reducing the chaces of me getting hold of one :D

If I'm right about where they were, there's a couple of bends just before this straight, although nothing that should have been a problem for an Enzo, even at 120.

The car can handle it but by the looks of things the driver couldnt.

Looks in not too bad a shape after hitting a pole, they tend to be like trees and just not absorb much energy in a collision (they dont deform) so the car structure has to deal with the massive forces.

Surprised no-one has been up there to pinch the shields off the wings. When i was at school a few years ago some idiot totalled a testarossa (sp?) just outside. Quite a few souveniers claimed from that one i can tell you. ;)

Dude. Id have the entire front on a flatbed, put it in my house with my Dell monitor where the windscreen is and play PGR3 races all day long from the cockpit of my own Enzo :D

Lol true, monaco only exists as a richboys tax haven anyway :p

Indeed, however in Malibu, north-west of Los Angeles you'll pay some of the highest taxes in the USA.

Most of the Malibu residents will already have Ferrari shields attached to the motors in their garages. Ferraris are ten-a-penny up there.

:D ha ha nice one. The front end will probably fetch about £10000 by itself. i hate seeing good cars wasted. Its like seeing attractive girls die in a film.
