That's a disgrace.

Honestly what makes it worse is the time and effort someone put into the build, it'd be bad enough if it was a TV or something but at least in that case its come off a production line.

That is insane, how is that much damage even possible, a drop and dent maybe, that looks like it was launched off a building

Looks like they’ve shipped it in a soft brown box with little packaging. Cases normally get shipped out in the hard outer shell cardboard boxes with a good few inches of foam.

still no excuse as that looks to have gone to hell and back

Nothing a bit of wet 'n dry won't sort out.

People like to make mountains out of molehills these days.

I’m struggling for the life of me to work out how it could get that smashed up. Looks like it’s been through a junkyard crusher!

Would be quite heavy so possibly at one stage on a pallet (possibly with other items) and lifted via a forklift.

There is no polystyrene packing visible. So if it arrived in that box then it's probably been dropped/crushed and everything relocated into a different box to complete the delivery.

I'm calling publicity/viral video stunt unless an employee has for some unfathomable reason been hitting it with a sledgehammer.

The foil material looks like the weird foil lined dense sponge-like packaging.

Looks like this was damaged badly then just piled the bits into another box.

I'll never forget that £85 first pressing vinyl record I bought a few years ago, can't remember the delivery company though. The ebay seller had packed it VERY well but still, when it was delivered, the corner had a huge crease like it had been slammed in a van door. Unfortunately the vinyl sleeve ended up with a crease as well. Such a shame.

calling BS myself. don't see how you could remotely destroy a case chassis to that extent just from transit, and i know from experience of attempting to trash one to make it easier to cart to the recycling tip.
