Unless things have changed since I last did a drill I thought the idea was to get to a place where you could be signed off so as to prevent some poor person going back into the building assuming someone is trapped?

To be fair first thing I'd do is grab my stuff.

not wishing to be high and almighty when such tragedies going on, but this was always going to happen when we had such an influx of middle eastern refugees, extremists were not going to let that opportunity to get into western countries go by.

. It was a huge fire; but apparently I did the wrong thing in taking any belongings with me.

I even had the nerve to text a couple of people about 'getting out ok' of the building. Christ.

Worst one I've ever had is a nightclub fire. Trying to get 900 drunks out of a club sensibly and the bouncer had stopped counting in/out so we had no clue if we had everyone out the building

I can imagine that would be awful, there was a similar type scenario in a nightclub in... (I want to say Roumania?) recently was there not?

I had a house fire in my area a few years back; family were asleep upstairs, the father was at work. We tried to get in to the house (it is a nice middle class area) and the fire was too bad.

Fire brigade's response was not quick enough, only the dad who was elsewhere survived

, made the papers, awful.

Most people carry their phone every where they go. You're the odd one out there then.

However some possible options I can think of off the top of my head are:

- They could still be in Syria

- They could have been separated at some point during the chaos of leaving and don't know where they are

- They could be in a refugee camp in Turkey, with the men of the family leaving to travel somewhere they can make some money to send back to their families so they can eat, and not have to sell themselves into prostitution or marry their sisters off to rich men so they can eat.

There are probably a myriad of other options as well. All, some or none of which could be correct.

So again I'll throw back the question to you, where are their families? Your posts seem to suggest you believe they are back in Syria and they just left them. Got any evidence for that?

In situations like that (and drills) isn't the standard thing to go show your face to the fire marshall, then head off to the pub/park/long lunch/coffee shop depending on time of day and weather.

That's what we always did.

If you don't know where plugs are located then...

You could always try McDonalds/fast food outlets, railway stations, shopping centres, hostels you may be sleeping in, trains you may be taking.

TBH if you got several thousand miles from a war zone you probably have more than two braincells and can work out where to find a plug accessible to the public.

My best and most logical guess is as they are not seen with them in anything like an even number (even on the columns coming in) the most sensible and reasonable guess is they are back braving bullets and bombs.

We don't know why many are here. They say work and yet recent figures suggest Germanys richest companies have taken on just 58 migrants (from a non-MSM source again).

There has been a wave/epidemic of crime and sexual assault that has never been seen before. Most has been kept quiet. Again the ******** videos were Imo horrendous to watch. Many of these people are I accept in need, but there is a significant number who are not as desperate as what the neolib media loves to make out.

Again I would argue if even one of these people killed or injured/maimed my family I would place the blame firstly at thefeet of the scum that did it and secondly at the feet of the government that had invited them in. If I were these families I would be filing suit with the Govt named as the defendant.

I very much doubt if these people have families they would just have left them there. Most people would not do that, and that includes people in the middle east, who are even more family oriented than us.

The reality is we don't know, and you are making assumptions based on little information.

Good luck with the suit, i'm sure the government have got plenty of cover in that regard.

So you also agree that all their families are still in Syria, rather than potentially in one of the dozen refugee camps outside Syria?

I'm not arguing that the families are with them, rather 100% likelihood that they have left their families in a war zone to go have fun elsewhere.

Again we don't know how likely or unlikely they are to have left them. Strong ethos of family?

The government have supposedly got themselves covered for everything. I hope to post a thread on here one day evidencing how covered they are.
