Another new PC thread!

I know you said this is the case you want, but it's a lot of cash for a case which is built for internal water cooling. It would seem to be a waste otherwise. Just my opinion.

hoenstly m8, IMO w.o a monitor what is the poitn of blowing more than £1500. unless you REALLY want SLI/Xfire, (wait for the 4870 to come out first atleast).

what size monitor are you getting?

Ok here is the updated spec. To reiterate I really want the Silverstone chassis as I think it looks badass (friend has got one) and is VERY well made. Changing this isn't an option and lets face it case choice is 90% asthetic and personal.

I was thinking of the Samsung monitor. I will be using it for gaming mainly as I generally hook up to a plasma TV for watching HD stuff and general DivX movies. I know I have splurged a little on things like fan controllers but I think they look cool :-)

Thanks for feedback

Edit: The GTX280 is a placeholder since the 4870 isn't out yet. I figure (or hope) I will be able to buy 2 x 4870 for roughly the same price.

Swap that cpu cooler to a true with a decent fan.
Swap the hdd's to the 640gb f1's as they use the newer bigger platters that are faster than the 250gb ones the 750 uses.

Looks good other than that.

Alright but remember I am a neophyte..... true with a fan? lol

I'm a neophyte meaning I'm a noob :-)

Im getting an itchy credit card finger now, I'm not sure if I can wait any longer. May just change mobo and go with a single GTX280.

Opinions are like *********- everyone has got one. I have read so much conflicting stuff re: the new gfx cards. Do ATI cards in crossfire really suffer from stuttering? I hear a lot of 'experts' generally stear away from multi GPU solutions for this reason....
