another program like acronis

hi,

i have a computer with an old 40gb hdd in it, and i have got a new 500gb drive for it and i want to just copy whats on the old drive onto the new one so i can just pop in the new drive and away i go. I know acronis can do this but i have used up the free trial period, is there either a free program or another one with a trail i can use to do this?

I have used DriveimageXML with no problems.

There are several other free disk cloning tools

gave it a google and now trying HDclone, says its going to take 30mins if that dont work out i will try DriveimageXML
