Another SSD Speed Thread

I have just installed a new OCZ Vertex 2E 60gb

That seems rather low compared to other Benchmarks iv seen.

Also with my board I am unsure what settings to have as I cannot see any reference to AHCI in the BIOS.

AMD Opty 170
DFI Lanparty SLI-DR
3gb ram
OCZ Vertex 2E 60gb

The original specifications are determined using ATTO. Test with ATTO and compare.

major thing is you got the drive setup on IDE...set it to AHCI for better performance.
