My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £59.89
(includes shipping: £9.90)

Bought the antec and am real happy with the unit.
Old CPU cooler was running idle at 46c full load 82c
new cooler 26c idle 50c full load.

problem is the fans speed set up.
At the moment ive got the running off the motherboard but the there running flat out.
I've tried looking in the bios but the fan speeds are locked out.
I've also tried down loading speed fan but it wont run on this PC.
Any help with controlling the fan speeds please.....

Have you set your motherboard to PWM mode? You may have to go into bios to change the fan header to PWM as the Antec fan is a PWM fan.

It worked fine on my system so it has to be a setting somewhere. I was using Asus Suite 3 to control my fans.

Is the Orange Zigmatek a PWM fan? It looks like the white writing is saying that it is in 4 pin PWM mode you must be able to change it to DC ect.

What motherboard is that and have you tried connecting it to a different port?

Just found this it may be similar to your setup.

Since, 5015MNTR server uses three 3-pin counter-rotating fans (FAN-0086L) so if your customer wants to utilize the Temp. Sensor feature, the FAN speed needed to be set at 3-pin fan speed control (either 3-pin Server Mode or 3-pin Workstation Mode). If 4-pin fan speed control (either 4-pin Server Mode or 4-pin Workstation Mode) is selected then there will be no fan speed control at all. The system fans will spin at full speed all the time.

Basically what I think Might be happening is that you are tryig to connect a 3 pin fan to a 4 pin header, that is why you are getting full speed on the fan.

Either change the setting for that header to 3pin DC mode or put the original 4 pin fan back on.

According to the specs it says this.

Total of six fan headers supporting up to 6 fans
Six 4-pin fan headers
6x fans with tachometer status monitoring
Status monitor for speed control
Status monitor for on/off control
Support 3-pin fans (w/o speed control)
Low noise fan speed control
Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) fan connectors

Basically chap it doesn't seem that your fan is compatible with your motherboard. Put the original one back on for now and buy yourself a 4 pin (pwm) fan, if you want a different fan that is.

This what it says in your manual.

Fan Headers
The X8SAX/C7X58 has six fan headers
(Fan1 ~ Fan6). Fans 2~6 are system
cooling fans. Fan 1 is used as a CPU
fan. These fans are 4-pin fan headers.
However, Pins 1-3 of the fan headers are
backward compatible with the traditional
3-pin fans. (Note: Please use all 3-pin
fans or all 4-pin fans on a motherboard.
Please do not use 3-pin fans and 4-pin
fans on the same board. The default set-
ting is Disabled which allows the onboard
fans to run at full speed.) Refer to the table
on the right for pin definitions

Still have the WC fan. but because i can see the fans from the front of the tower i didnt put it in because i dont like blue that much in a pc. I cant see the cpu block because i dont have a side window so that doesnt bother me. What happens when i connect the 4 pin fan. only ever connected 3 pins.
all case fans are 3 pins.

Are you sure that you have plugged your fan (the orange zigmatek) into the CPU fan socket? It's the top left hand one level with the bottom of your CPU socket.
