Why do people think it is acceptable to take up 2 parking bays? Last night this **** didn't stop me, still managed to squeeze the Megane in. :D

I would have parked mirror to mirror with their drivers side. :p

That way they have to clamber in through the other side, and might think twice about doing it next time. :p

You'd probably arrive to you car with a dent in it though!

There are many perks to driving a tatty 2002 Polo, one of them is that it wouldn't bother me very much. :p

Besides, I'd be so close that they wouldn't be able to even squeeze down the gap to open the door. Unless you meant they might deliberately hit the car.

There was no damage to my car when I got back to it, and I was still completely within my bay. Astra had gone, he probably had to climb through the passenger door.

How in the hell did you get out of your drivers side? You either weigh 3 stone, or you coimbed out through the boot!

Good effort either way

I never understand terrible parking. Some people must actively want their cars to be keyed by irate ruffians or accidentally knocked into.

I managed to squeeze myself out with my hand around the door to protect the white car on the right. Not sure I would have got back in though but wasn't worried about that I was leaving it there all night.

Are you allowed to say "****" here??

I am astonished that none of the GD Gurdianistas have yet pounced on you for crimes against political correctness!

So it was all fine then?

Well not really, no. He had to squeeze his car in, he's therefore right up against the line on the otherside and he's fortunate enough that he's happy to do that but many people wouldn't be which is fair enough.

The guy the other side is purely selfish - there is no reason other than 'CBA' to explain why he's left a huge gap to the curb and encroached onto the other space, it's pure laziness.

The most right wing forum other than UKIP's and you think we have Guardian readers who get offended by ****?
