Seen this today in neighbours garden. At first glance I thought this was a couple of turkeys, then I saw it was eating an animal so I thought vulture, but when I looked closer it was some kind of hawk. It was at least the size of a turkey if not bigger. It was eating something for about 20 mins oblivious to me, took a pic from about 30m away.

I have this sinking feeling that it might have been eating my cat.

It doesnt look like the size of a Turkey to me from that pic.

Looks like the size of a Russian Eagle. But I doubt it is a Russian Eagle.

Buzzard, loads here now used to be quite common but got blamed for young animal deaths now encouraged and flourishing, the squark is great and seagulls and crows attack them.

i dont think it's a buzzard, look at the thickness of its legs. I got the feeling it could easily fly off with a lamb or something.

It looks like an Osprey, but it's much more likely a Buzzard.

The Buzzard is now the UK's most common bird of prey. I never used to see them as a kid, but I saw three soaring above the moors just yesterday.

Looks like a buzzard to me, though I'm sure some twitcher will be along to say it's a Norwegian Blue at any moment now...

Looks more like a Goshawk, for a few reasons... mostly because it doesn't look that big and it's a Kwerk thread, so he would have exaggerated it.
