Any body else having problems with LOTRO?

From the launcher.

This seems worse than WoWs maintenance days. :D

EDIT - It's working now :D

EDIT again : Can anybody recommend me a good class/race combo? I want something fun and fast. I'd prefer to stay away from tanking and healing as these classes are usually the most boring. :p

What's wrong with WoW's downtime? It's damn good and minimal at best.

I agree with that.

thing i find hilarious is, I roled a guardian, a couple infact to see what they are like and up to 25-30ish, i didn't give a monkeys if other people wanted to take aggro, trying to take down anything on my own as a guardian. Im glad they upgraded their attack power a bit. It seems silly that a huge hulk of a guardian can smash some dude over the head with their massive hulking shield, and it barely make a scratch. Most boring of all the classes simply because even the very most basic of enemies takes a half hour to take down. Minstrels massively outdamage guardians.

Minstrels really are a stupidly uneven class, but hella fun to play. if only they had the option of being a "musical" or non musical class as it constantly irritated me. Plus lack of being able to buy a new main weapon that alters damage was awful. Default stats identical for every player basically right throughout the game where every other class could buy a new weapon every few levels at worst.

what kind of stuttering? Grr, meant to get round to playing it today. Something/anything to do with going into town-ish area's with lots of npc's or other characters around. Often a cause of bad performance, or can be. NEw installs of the game always seemed to be slower for me, then got better with going into towns, sticking more character models into cache so they load faster next time? or just mind playing tricks on me, not sure. Other stuttering, can't remember, they do a update every night at 12-1am and at some point during that you can get stuck frequently as they update one zone at a time IIRC.

It's kinda like hitching. My FPS will stay high and as I'm walking in a forest for example, my FPS will spike for a second, it's as if they're loading stutters. I've defragged and everything, no crap running in the background.... Maybe it's a setting in game some where? My PC can handle ultra high fine, but if I set it to very low I don't think it stutters as much
