I know tft's are 'in' but all the ones I have experienced have been a let down. so I wanna know how many of us still have a good old CRT that we game on?
imo they cant be beaten.

got 2 - a 19" & a 21", both aperture grille.
also got a 19" TFT & I agree for some things the CRT is better.

Cool I have a 22(20in viewable) mitsubishi diamond plus, honestly it gives me the sweetest image iv'e seen and I dont have to worry about viewing angles which annoys me the most about tft's.

1 x 19" Ilyama Vision Master Pro450
3 x 17" Dell P791

I've got also three Dell 17" LCD's but I can't be bothered to set them up.

I'd really like one of the Dell 24" LCD's, but I really need to sell some of this stuff first. ;)

I'm still using a HP P1100 (rebadged sony 21" crt), and have been holding off getting a TFT.

Been looking out for a good quality tft that will do 1600x1200 as this monitor does, with a good picture etc etc etc..... and theres not that many around.

Probably continue to use it until it packs in, and then I'll get the best tft I can afford ... :D

Sold my Viewsonic P97F+ CRT on the MM a few days ago. Nice screen it was. Got the Dell 2007WFP now, only thing I can fault it for is black depth.

I seriously wish I had never sold my 22" Mitsubishi, TFT's just don't match them in image quality.

Running an LG 26" LCD HDTV now which don't get me wrong is absolutely amazing but it just can't match the black depth, refresh rates or all round image quality of my old CRT.

I have
1x17" philips
1x19" illyama
1x21" cornerstone p1500 (which I play retro consoles on via a xrgb upscanner)

but my next purchase will be a 24" tft, if I could get a sony 24" fw900 crt in good condition and for the right price I would take it in a shot tbh and not go tft.

I do love crt screens even though I have a 32" lcd Tv at home I only use it to game on any tv watching is done on a old 32" sony crt

2 x Sony 24" CRT's
1 x IBM 21" CRT
1 x Cornerstone 21" CRT *relegated to server work*
1 x Compaq 17" CRT

Will I ever go TFT? I bloody hope not. TFT=fuzzy, wobbly, headache hell.

2x ViewSonic Professional Series P227f 21"
0.20mm horizontal dot pitch, 0.25mm ultra-fine diagonal dot pitch
Ultra-fine dot pitch delivers clear, crisp images with precise picture definition, even at the highest resolution.

> See it all with 2048 x 1536 maximum resolution
Displays a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536; 1600 x 1200 @ 99Hz flicker-free refresh rate for easy-on-the-eyes viewing.
2048 x 1536 @ 79Hz
1920 x 1440 @ 84Hz
1600 x 1200 @ 99Hz
1280 x 1024 @ 115Hz

I have 2 cheap 17" CRTs lying around somewhere but I upgraded to a TFT as I needed the ease of portability and the extra desk space.

When I first went to TFT, games did look a bit blurry, but after a week or so I didn't notice anymore.

There a Sony GDM FW900 on a certain auction site for £70.00 at the moment, but it's early days and condition unknown.

Sony 21" E530 Trinitron flat screen here, but sadly it's on it's way out.
I'm likley going over to the dark side and getting a Dell 2007FP to replace it with.

ive got dual 17'' CRT's ( 16''viewable)

yes fantastic picture. but they're just far too small(viewable), bulky and hot. im going to sacrafice these soon for 2x 22''s

Using CRT's here still. Although one packed up last week

Lacie Electron 22" blue.
Compaq s910 - 19".

Looking at upgrading in January, possibly to the Dell Ultrasharp 2007WFP 20" Widescreen.

I have a Samsung 19" 900NF collecting dust in the spare room since I replaced it with a Dell Ultrasharp 2007WFP.
