Any Decent Games To Play?

Hey guys, just see dark souls 3 down to £16 on steam, have £224 in steam wallet, should I give it a try for someone who hasn't played any of the previous soul games ?

Grim dawn worth a mention for a decent ARPG too

as for dark souls, i tried the 2nd one but iirc there is no guidance.. sort of like building flat-packed furniture without the instructions
some people enjoy the challenge but i found it took the fun out of it

either way it wont make a dent in that steam wallet! :D

XCOM 2 and Metal Gear solid Phantom Pain. Know you said no EA, Ubisoft and Bethesda, but you did list two Ubisoft games and both do some decent games! So in that light Mass Effect Series is also pretty great and started initially when Bioware was standalone as did Dragon age Origins.

yeh i did, but that was in the past. Not any more..

im interested in this too, but not sure if its just another zombie game.. does it have a decent story/gun play?

Not played the following expansion but i have played the base game and found it very fun indeed..
The story isnt anything amazing but its decent enough to enjoy the game, been a good few years since playing so cant remember how well the gun play is but at the start i think your mostly limited to melee stuff iirc

also some very tense moments during the night as thats when the nasty stuff comes out to play :D

might have to redownload it and give it another play through now :P

Also see hitman the latest one, down to £15, reviews seem pretty good and I was a fan of blood money, anyone try this latest instalment ?

One last suggestion is Binding of Isaac and Afterbirth expansions. So much fun to be had and plenty of unlocks and near infinite "runs" to be had.

Hey the guys entitled to his opinions/way of playing. Even if he is a fussy pants (just kidding mate)

I haven't read the whole thread but have you been through the far cry series?

Maybe try a different genre? I've been playing guild wars 2 for years now and just got my mate into it who doesn't like fantasy nor mmos but is really enjoying the Pve and wvw in this

You've been in a gaming slump for 2 years since the end of blood and wine. Take a break.

I really need to try Far Cry again as I never did get very far way back in 2004? Think it was the ship... Cannot really remember. Maybe get Far Cry 2 and 3?

Funny how most of the games I've been playing are all old ones, Crysis series, Quake Champions with new paint. Wonder if there are nice mods for giving Far Cry a nice renovation?

Looking about so many are obsessed with ENB/Bloom...
