Any games that made you buy a console?

Not anymore. I find any console i buy just ends up sitting and gathering dust after a while. I can't stand the pixelated mess of image quality and the dreadful framerates anyway. I have well and truly been spoilt by having good PC's for so long :p

I just stick to PC games now. I only have the time to play a fraction of the games library on PC anyway.

Bought every Playstation apart from the PS4 - will be getting that next month for the last Unchartered game, and the rumour that the next Gran Turismo will have the TT course in it. Which I can ride on my GSXR 1000, but probably safer from the sofa.

PS1 for Tomb Raider
PS2 for Ratchet and Clank ( for the daughter ) TT Superbikes ( for me )
PS3 for Uncharted
PSP for Everybody's golf
PSP Vita Uncharted Golden Abyss and Everybody's golf.

Wii to play Wii Sports
PS3 to play Gran Turismo and proper FIFA
XB360/XB1 to play Forza

I also got a PS4 over 6 months ago but haven't actually played any games on it yet (just Amazon Prime / DVDs), which is pretty sad.

360 - Lost Odyssey
PS4 - Bloodborne
Wii U - Mario Kart 8 and Xenoblade Chronicles X

Funnily enough the only one I have actually played significantly is Mario Kart 8.
That isn't funny, MK8 is easily the best in your list, quite right it would be played the most

I bought a PS3 for RR7, and I remember begging my parents to get me an SMS purely for double Dragon.

PS3 for the last of us, then bought a ps4 mainly to replay it remastered along with ps4 exclusives :). Best game I've ever played. Nothing has come close to the last of us for me.

I buy consoles for football games. As much as I love PC gaming, I just find FIFA a much better experience on console. I also prefer FPS on them as I cannot use a K+M due to limited use of my left hand. I know you can use a pad on PC, but you just get murdered.

I was close to buying an XB1 for Ryse. But I found out it was coming to PC. Glad I didn't shell out now, it wasn't very good.

I bought a SNES to play Super Mario World, an N64 to play Super Mario 64 and a Gamecube to play Super Mario Sunshine. I'm partial to a Mario game :)

Also bought a PS2 to play GTA III - couldn't believe what I was seeing and just had to have it!

Love my PC for its variation of games and mods for them but had to have the Xbox 360 for Halo. I did upgrade to Xbox one as a treat as I work away from home and was going crazy not having something to play on. I do have some titles on both formats so I can have two different playthrough styles. Although the One will not out perform my PC I am still impressed with capabilities and able to play a game without having to sort out some issues Fallout 4. Nice to play on the couch on the big screen to though.

Fallout 4 is all about the mods though which is why I decided to get it on PC. I'm waiting for the price to come down a bit first as I'm in no real rush to play it at the moment. I still haven't finished Fallout 3 and Fallout: NV yet :(.

I do like my Xbox One though. It is a brilliant little media player with support for just about all the streaming services available over here and plus it has support for streaming off my NAS which when I set it up will be brilliant.

Back in 2008 I bought a 360 and couple of controllers for FIFA

My mates used to pop over before we went clubbing etc.. just was more convienient to have a console

360 for GTA IV DLC (when it was xobx only then like a week later the PS3 announcement came).

That was the only one for a specific game bought all the rest because I am a gamer.

Xbox One for Forza 6 and Horizons 2

PS4 - well was a present - lol

in general though I much prefer games like COD on the console than PC - my more "serious" games I play on PC

I used to have consoles downstairs in lounge - but since I hardly ever got on the TV (lol!) I know have a computer monitor + large LCD in the study, with my PC, PS4, Xbox One and Wii U all connected - so best of both worlds :)
